My passion for fitness started at six years old, playing soccer in Mexico City. By 13, I was training as a cadet at one of Mexico’s most prestigious military academies, where I learned combat training, self-defense, boxing, and, most importantly, the discipline that still drives me today. Those years ingrained in me the value of teamwork, resilience, and leadership—principles I carry into my business and my life.
After military school, I pursued law in Mexico before moving to the United States to further my education. Life, however, tested me hard: a devastating car accident left me temporarily in a wheelchair. Doctors told me surgery was my only option, but I chose another path. Through relentless physical therapy and a refusal to quit, I regained my mobility and discovered the healing power of fitness. That turning point not only restored my body—it reshaped my purpose.
I went on to compete in track and field at San Jose City College and San Jose State University while balancing work at Bally Total Fitness, where I became one of the company’s top managers. Those years gave me corporate experience, national recognition, and the foundation to build something bigger.
In 2012, I launched Elite Spartans from the ground up. What started as a small vision has now impacted thousands of lives, growing more than 900% and earning recognition such as Personal Trainer of the Year at the 2018 Fitness Business Summit. Today, Elite Spartans stands as a symbol of grit, community, and transformation.
With over 30,000 hours of personal training experience and recognition as a Kettlebell Master Trainer, I’ve had the privilege of coaching people of all ages and fitness levels. My mission has always been the same: help individuals achieve results they never thought possible while building the mindset and discipline that carries into every area of life.
