Hello everyone!
My name is Richard Gallardo.
Some of you might remember me, and for those I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, I was a trainer here at Elite Spartans from mid 2024 to early 2025. I’m really excited to be back, it honestly felt like an easy decision because of the energy, the people, and the strong sense of community here. What I’ve always loved most about being a trainer is the connections you build. It’s more than just workouts for me it’s about getting to know you, understanding where you’re at, and helping you push past what you thought your limits were. There’s nothing better than seeing someone grow in confidence while reaching their goals. I’m looking forward to reconnecting with familiar faces and meeting new ones who are ready to be a part of the Elite Spartans family and take their fitness to the next level. My passion for fitness comes from a lifelong background in sports, including playing college football.

Over time, I realized I fell in love with training and improving my body even more than the game itself. After a serious knee injury ended my football career, I hit a turning point. During my recovery, I lost over 65 pounds in six months, and that process pushed me to really learn how the body works and why it responds the way it does. That led me towards schooling for my Associate’s degree in Kinesiology and sparked my goal of becoming a firefighter EMT. At the same time, it helped me realize my purpose. Being able to connect with people during tough moments, especially when they feel stuck or held back by their current situation. I know what that feels like, and I take pride in helping others break through that and see what they’re truly capable of.
