Elana

Trainer

Hello Spartans!

Hey everyone, my name is Elana, and I am so excited to be a trainer at Elite Spartans! While I have been involved in sports and athletic training for the majority of my life, I never considered being a trainer until I stepped foot into Elite Spartans. I quickly realized I had found something special here. I am constantly amazed by the strength and determination of both the staff and clients. I hope to be an important part of your fitness journey and to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be.

How did I get into athletics? I began gymnastics as a young child and continued with the high-intensity, year-round training until I was 17. I was forced to quit gymnastics due to an injury; however, this allowed me to begin a new athletic endeavor by joining a junior college diving team. It was during my time as a diver that I got trained in weight lifting and Crossfit for the first time. It was so different from what I was used to from gymnastics, but I immediately loved the feeling of getting stronger by lifting heavyweights. Over the years, my exercise routines have shifted and evolved, but I am always down to try something new!

More About Me

I graduated from UC Davis with a degree in Human Development, and I am currently finishing up my master’s degree in Occupational Therapy. I hope to begin a career in Occupational Therapy within the next year but still continue as a trainer at Elite Spartans because it is a position that I truly enjoy.
